General Meetings and Events

General meetings for 2024-2025 will held on
October 21st, December 9th, February 24th, and June 9th.

Meetings are held

in the Francis Young Hall at the South Coast Botanic Garden 26300 Crenshaw Boulevard, Palos Verdes Peninsula, CA 90274, unless field trips or special events are planned. PLEASE NOTE: If you are interested in attending a meeting, please contact our Director, Alexis Slafer, at least 3 days prior so your name will be on our guest list to be included for the meeting.

The General Meeting on February 24, 2025

The program for this meeting will be "Kelp Forests of the South Bay" presented by Michael Friedman. Michael is Chairman of the Speakers Bureau of Los Serenos de Point Vicente and a docent at the Point Vicente Interpretive Center. Join us to learn about important role our local kelp forests play in the ocean enviroment.
